maintenance homes. Our newly-built two and three bedroom villas
and apartments and established one and two bedroom garden villas
and studio apartments are all designed for comfort, convenience
and security.

The new villas and apartments now being constructed
at Bentley Park are designed around a concept known as ‘adaptable
housing’. This concept offers flexible design features that
can easily be altered to accommodate changes that sometimes become
necessary as we age. For example, demountable shower screens, emergency
power sockets for use of oxygen concentrators, semi-recessed hand
basins and extra wide doors that allow for wheel chair access.
All newly constructed villas and apartments are
connected to a back up power supply, so if the mains electricity
is interrupted, you’ll still have adequate emergency power
and lighting.
In addition, all newly-built homes at Bentley Park
have highly sophisticated telephone and communication services with
an emergency assistance feature and cheaper line and call charges.
Other features available include high speed Internet
access, ‘Good Night’ switches that turn off all lights
from your bedroom, pay TV and in-house movies, a wide range of information
services, and additional security measures.
For keen gardeners, the private courtyards provide
plenty of opportunity to keep your green thumb busy whilst a team
of professional gardeners expertly maintains the common areas.
Support services at any time
Emergency support services are provided by our
Resident Support Officers. Their assistance ensures you maintain
your independence by enhancing well-being, safety and security.
Advice regarding community health and lifestyle services and resources
are available to all independent living residents. In the event
of a crisis, all-hours emergency support is at hand. All support
and after hours security staff are Senior First Aid trained.
Assistance and advice is also available to residents
and their families if deteriorating health requires an Aged Care
Assessment for referral to assisted, low or high care accommodation.
Rental
- Studio apartments, located in the original village and suitable
for singles, these well maintained and fully redecorated apartments
and units are compact, comfortable and fully self-contained.
