High Dependency Residential Care - Kingia/Tandara Care Centre

Who is eligible?
An applicant who undergoes an Aged Care Assessment [ACAT] and qualifies as requiring high care accommodation under the Federal Government's criteria for admission to a high care facility. Financial Requirements
An Accommodation Charge may apply for admission to Kingia and Tandara Care Centre. The amount of the charge is prescribed by the Federal Government and based on a variable scale dependent on the level of assets of the prospective resident. Financially disadvantaged residents are not expected to pay an Accommodation Charge.

Daily care rates comprise approximately 85% of the full single aged pension and are paid fortnightly in advance. Part and non-pensioners may also be required to pay an additional daily care amount based on their non-pension income.
