New Orleans Jazz in the Park - 28 March 2007

Hundreds of Bentley Park residents, some complete with bowler hats and bobby socks, were recently seen swinging and jiving to the sounds of live jazz in the newly completed Millstream Gardens area at Bentley Park to farewell the warmer summer weather and welcome back the crisp autumn sunshine.

In the first of what will soon become regular resident gatherings at Bentley Park during summer, around 300 residents joined together for a evening of New Orleans-inspired fun and laughter.

With delicious food served from the ‘N’awlins Grits’ buffet and a range of beverages from ‘Cat’s Meow on Bourbon St’ and ‘Crescent City’ bars, SwanCare Group CEO Bill Marshall said the evening was a great success and plans were already in place for other such ‘in-the-Park’ sundowners in the not too distant future.
