Construction has now begun on the development of a bustling “main street” on Adie Court, Bentley Park.
The street runs through the centre of WA’s largest retirement and aged care community, SwanCare Bentley Park, and adjacent to a neighbouring retirement village, Juniper Rowethorpe.
SwanCare has begun Adie Court’s transformation by starting construction on a general store, beauty salon and hairdresser which will complement the recently opened café and grassed piazza space.
The developments are part of a wider multi-million development project which will see first-class new facilities added to the Bentley Park site, including a heated indoor swimming pool and gymnasium.
“We chose Adie Court for redevelopment due its naturally high volume of foot traffic - many of our residents catch the bus to Perth from there, or eat at the new café and there are also quite a few Curtin University students who walk along it,” Graham Francis, SwanCare CEO, said. “We really hope that Adie Court becomes a real hub for our residents and the wider community alike.”
The new development is due to be opened in mid-2018.
