Mrs Rita Stemmerik, volunteer “House Mother”, Kiosk Manager and house pet carer in SwanCare Group’s Waminda Aged Care Facility announced as winner in State Excellence Awards.
SwanCare Group holds a special place in the lives and hearts
of many Western Australian families, celebrating 50 years
in providing the highest standards in retirement living and residential
aged care services.
Non-denominational and not-for-profit, SwanCare Group is a leader
in the provision of care services to seniors within our state.
The original values and intent of the founding Board of Management
of Swan Cottage Homes is as true today as it was in 1961 when
the community was first established.
We are now a community of 1,100 residents on our Bentley Park
Campus, embracing retirement living and residential aged care.
Looking to the future, SwanCare Group is soon to establish a new retirement living community in the idyllic coastal haven of Australind, at the gateway to the south west region. Construction has commenced on Stage 1 and is selling now. Convenient and contemporary inner metropolitan apartment living, The Space@Carlisle is SwanCare's next retirement living venture and will commence construction later in 2010.
In 2009, SwanCare Group ushered in a new era in residential
care with the opening of our magnificent residential care centre,
