Join us in celebrating our overall Feathers Winner for March, Drew Collins, Service Desk Team Leader.
“I think I can speak for the entire team when I say that Drew truly exemplifies what it means to be a team player. His willingness to help and support others is unwavering, and his contributions extend across all aspects of our work environment. Drew is always the first to step up when there's a need, whether it's making valuable improvements to existing processes or assisting with IT onboarding sessions. He has repeatedly shown that no task is too small, and he always approaches every challenge with a positive attitude and a determination to make things better for everyone. Thank you, Drew, for being an amazing teammate and for always being there when we need you most!”
Fantastic job, Drew! Your positive attitude and dedication to improving things for everyone are genuinely appreciated. Keep up the excellent work!
Please join us in celebrating our category winners for March as follows:
Category Winners
COMPASSION - Bernardio Solatorio, Registered Nurse – SwanCare Ningana
“I want to take a moment to recognise Bernard for his unwavering support during shifts. As the senior RN on duty, he consistently steps up, ensuring everything runs smoothly & especially during out-of-office hours. Whether it's managing sick calls, delivering pharmacy meds, or assisting fellow RNs when help is needed, he goes above and beyond without question. Beyond his clinical responsibilities, Bernard also demonstrates exceptional compassion. One of our residents who loves tending to his garden has recently been unable to do so safely, which has been disheartening for him. Bernard takes a few minutes of his time to help with the gardening ensuring the resident can still enjoy his passion without the risk of falls & small act of kindness that makes a huge difference in the resident's happiness and well-being. I truly appreciate his hard work and the support he provides, ensuring the best care for our residents.”
Thank you, Bernard! While these may seem like small acts of kindness to you, they make a significant impact on your fellow staff and residents. We truly appreciate your hard work and compassion.
CUSTOMER SERVICE – Clara Yuen, People & Culture Assistant, Administration
“I would like to take a moment to recognise Clara with Feathers for the outstanding customer service she consistently delivers. Despite having been with us for a short time, Clara has quickly embraced her role and consistently exemplifies excellence in every interaction. Whether she's offering P&C support, leading IT onboarding sessions, or conducting phone screenings and interviews, Clara approaches each task with genuine enthusiasm and treats everyone with the highest level of respect. Clara, your contributions are truly valued, and we are incredibly grateful to have you as part of our team.”
Outstanding accomplishment, Clara! We truly value your contributions, and we are very lucky to have you on our team. Excellent work and thank you for going above and beyond.
LEADERSHIP - Ceridwen Williams, Social Engagement Team Leader, Waminda
“Ceri spent weeks organising our residents into the various categories of voters. Non-voters, postal voters and residents voting today at the mobile polling booth or in the residents' rooms. Organised by floors and conveyed to her team the day prior. Car parking was reserved for them which they appreciated immensely as they had a lot of equipment to bring in. If this had not been organised so well when a COVID outbreak was declared overnight, everything would have fallen in a heap due to the renovation. There was hoarding up to separate the two sides of the Ground Floor of Waminda. Access by the officials was through the sliding door into what was the dining room. We could practice enhanced infection control measures easily. Ceri's team were great, too, but if Ceri hadn't done all the groundwork beforehand, this day would not have gone well. Thank you, Ceri!!!”
Thank you, Ceri. Your hard work greatly contributed to the success of the day, and we are fortunate to have you and your team. Excellent job, we truly appreciate your dedication and extra effort.
TEAM NOMINATION - Aneeta Shibu, Zeyann Ampatuan & Ebony Gunson, Food Service Assistants, Hospitality
“I would like to give feathers to Ebony, Zeyann, and Aneeta for their outstanding efforts. Together, we successfully executed a large catering event for St. Patrick's Day, serving 120 people. The feedback we received was overwhelmingly positive, and it's a testament to the excellent teamwork and dedication shown throughout the evening. We worked seamlessly together, ensuring the residents' needs were met with care and attention. Thank you all for making it such a memorable and successful night!”
Great job, team! Teamwork really does make the dream work. The positive feedback reflects the outstanding collaboration and commitment you've all demonstrated. Congratulations!
