Last Friday, on the 19th of September 2025, our Auditorium was decked out in purple bras and vibrant outfits as residents and staff came together to support Purple Bra Day, raising awareness and funds for Breast Cancer Care WA. With many in our community having been personally affected by breast cancer, or knowing someone who has, the day held deep meaning for all involved.

Thanks to the incredible generosity and enthusiasm of our villagers, the event raised a grand total of $3,909.65!

The afternoon was packed with entertainment and heartfelt moments, featuring a resident fashion parade, talent show, raffles, lucky numbers and an afternoon tea. A special highlight was the raffle draw which saw our Retirement Living Consultant, Matt, and Community Living’s Mary take the stage to sing a song chosen at random, much to the delight of the crowd!
